Movember: Day 21

Went to the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) for my HOI tutorial this week, looked at art pieces through the history of Western civilisation, ranging from Greek sculptures to Renaissance art. Was a little rushed, didn't manage to get any photos inside, but I did get two shots of the outside of the Gallery.
The nice water feature outside the imposing walls of the Gallery
Some shots I took of the cityscape whilst in the tram

Later in the day, I did my monologue for my Drama exam, doing an excerpt from Frankenstein the novel. Pity I didn't have the good sense to take a snapshot of my getup as Davy Jones, of Pirates of the Carribean fame. Well I guess you guys will have to use your imaginations for that.

Trusty PAM (Potatoes and Meat), I can always count on you for comfort
Fast-forward to Friday, and my package has arrived! Finally, after days of delays due to a messed up address (my bad), my copy of Win7 has reached my hands...from Singapore. Ugh, if I had known they were shipping from Singapore I'd have them mail it to my address back home instead of all the way over here. Note the skilful (not) removal of my personal details.
See how the thread-like leaves nicely fill the gaps in between the tiles
Saturday, woke up early to meet up for a school excursion to the Da Vinci exhibition...except that I saw no one there. I arrived "just on time" according to the schedule, but I think they went in early and didn't have the decency to phone me to see if I was anywhere near. Bah, waste of $15 bucks, and a good Saturday morning.

Mucked around a bit in the cold weather and took some photos of the cityscape
Can you spot the rowing team in the Yarra river?
I must say Angus beef really tastes good, it makes fast food burgers much more palatable. Pictured here is the Angry Angus from Hungry Jacks (aka BK), so much better than the Grand/Mighty Angus from Maccas, maybe because it has two patties compared to one from Maccas. jloh thinks it's the intrinsic quality of the beef used that makes it so yum. Whatever the case, it's a winner to me.
Spotted a developing pine cone in the pine tree opposite my place. Looks so...green.
As we move into the last week of Movember, it's time for a Mo'update. As you can see, I have grown a visible nose-tickler. Now I wouldn't say it's respectable or anything, but it certainly was an interesting experience. Lets hope something happens within this week that will add body to this mo'.
