Another long day today. Full day of lessons. Shag.

Went to Es Teler for lunch today, awesome Indonesian cuisine. I had Nasi Goreng Ikan Asin, which is just ikan billis fried rice. Very nom and worth the $9.

Nasi Ayam that my friend had. I didn't have time to take my food because I had to rush for a lecture.

Went with Zitai and his 2 friends to Ying Thai for well, thai food. Super nice and nom! Stir fried duck skin, thai red curry, kailan with roast pork, and TOM YAM HOTPOT best for cold rainy days!

After that, went to his friend's place and had a nice cup of long black coffee, freshly ground and brewed, beans straight from his family's plantation. Soooo nice and aromatic. No acidic aftertaste at all. Delicious.

First day that actually felt like a full day. Drama class is soooo damn fun la. Mildly shagged.

Dinner of red snapper fillet that I got on Sunday, with carrot and string bean stir-fry. Wasn't very nom like I expected; fish was too oily, wasn't too fresh, bones etc; string beans had that 'squeaky' texture when bit into.
Holy shit so late le. Nothing much happened today, no lab so I had the entire morning free.

Gosu lunch of a mega omelette. Contains bacon bits, mushrooms, green peppers and most importantly, cheese!

Gilding midway

Dinner was leftover omelette with carrot/brocolli stir-fry. Probably the first dish (the stir fry) I've mastered here. Very nom

Fantastic relaxing day.

Breakfast was this can of soup because I wanted something hot and soupy. Added a lamb sausage to beef up (heh) the protein content.

The heat melted the crappy plastic spoon/ladle while I was browning the sausage

Served with 2 slices of multigrain toast. So healthy

Went for Bio tutorial in the morning...only to find that there was no tutorial as the tutor called in sick. So I essentially had nothing to do until 3.45. Did my laundry and went to get some groceries in town in the meantime.

Seeing double? That's the other half of the soup from the morning, and yesterday's spaghetti, for lunch.

Had HOI (History of Ideas) lecture in the afternoon. Was utterly dry at the start, but things got interesting as the lecture progressed.

Met Zitai and his friends for dinner, at some chinese food place in town. Food was (reasonably) cheap and good, will eat there again. Had the lemongrass pork chop rice. Twas a tad dry, but that's to be expected of pork chops I guess. Scrumptious nonetheless.

Visited his place afterwards to chill and chat. He lives on the 14th floor, so he has like this awesome view from his balcony of half of the city skyline and the far-flung suburbs. He also had this cute black and white cat, but he kept it indoors after it successfully got out into the neighbour's balcony and refused to come back for awhile. Bummer, wanted to play with it. Oh well, next time.

Shots of the skyline, sorry the first one turned out so blurry, my bad. That's the park directly opposite his balcony. The second is part of the Melbourne City skyline, which you can see from an angle from the balcony.

Crappy video I took with my phone, hope it is viewable. (I haven't looked at it yet.) I belive it's super blurry because my phone cam takes so long to focus.

Went grocery shopping today at Queen Vic Market. Got come cute deals as it was near closing time. Spontaneous "lehlongs". A kilo of handmade lamb sausages - $8, 3 medium-large fillets of red snapper - $10. Some other random vegs for cheap.

Lunch of Calamari rings and chips

Made spaghetti for dinner. Used the minced chicken and the lamb sausages as the meat, and green peppers for the colour. Mmmm scrumptious I had 3 bowls.

Looks like lunch tomorrow is settled.

Picture post #2

Yum brekkie of bacon n eggs. Scrambled eggs with milk in it taste especially yum. I've gotten rid of nearly all my bacon backlog.

Randomly got asked out to the beach today by the singaporean gang. Trammed all the way down to Port Melbourne.

Lunch at D'lish Fish. I had the grilled salmon pack, while the others had the lunch pack (Fish n chips with calamari rings, in the background). Calamari was super tender, while the salmon was mmmmmmmm.

Shot of the kitchen. Super clean and bright la.

From here on it'll be just shots of the place. Maybe some commentary.

Saw like atleast 3 jellyfish beached on the shore in the short stretch that we walked on.

The word in the last pic was meant to be "ban". So what's the story behind these skywritings? Well in today's news a horse died in a Jumps Race, a type of horse-racing that has been highly controversial as it was hazardrous and horses injured this way often had to be put down on the spot due to the severe injuries sustained. So yeah I suppose this was part of the protests against the race.

The sun was so intense it screwed up the top part of my shot

Random message between park benches

Lazy to cook dinner, wasn't really hungry at that. Indomee with milo. So unhealthy.
