For lack of better ideas when asked, I suggested doing the happy little jig in the VISA advert. Well it was a start, beats staring into ~10 blank AT faces in perfect uneasy silence. So we ended up doing that (no surprises there) conga-line style, which was not that bad actually, have hoots and calls during our bit to liven it up abit.
If staying in Melbourne so far has taught me anything, it is that when you are alone, you are really alone. It does get really lonely most of the time, even with the internet, I don't see much people (if any) to talk to on MSN nowadays.

Perhaps the situation will improve when classes start, in terms of being occupied and having more stable friendships.
I hope so.

Weather was really cold today (4-15deg), condensation on the windows.
Could see my breath, but it was really faint, couldn't snap that, so here's a pic of car exhaust condensation instead
Lunch of Red Rooster Chilli and Garlic Aeoli Rippa Sub, delicious breaded chicken breasts in a baguette
Hot tap water + Dishwashing liquid + nearly a fortnight's worth of smelly woollen socks = Soapy murky mess
Wet sox pileup
Drying socks. (Note the stray black SAF sock that missed the washing machine)
Dinner was a heap of white rice...
NOT! Broccoli and carrot stir-fry with bacon pieces join the party. The rice turned out slightly mushy/sticky. Add less water next time.
