Did the Big Noise performance today, really got everyone going. Never moved and got involved in quite some time. Orienteering competiton later was slightly less exciting but pleasant nonetheless.
"Amazing Race" style games never were my favourite thing, but this was quite 'fun' in the sense that nothing was really at stake, and we were allowed to complete it at a leisurely pace. Got to know the campus even better, and got a nice walk at the same time.
This was a photo of my group (left to right: Ryan, Sunny and Isabelle) around a sundial, part of a requirement in the orienteering competition...
...unfortunately that was the wrong sundial. This was the actual one we were supposed to shoot, the Armillary Sundial.
Dinner was supposed to be a potato carrot stew-ish dish, but the potatoes grew eyes, so that had to go. Steak and gravy sub was a good stop-gap measure.
But it wasn't quite substantial enough, so into the picture comes kimchi instanoodles and chicken mince meatballs

Bought my 2nd-hand lit texts in the evening. They're actually quite thin and manageable. Should be a breeze.
Here's my lit texts (and my History of Ideas text right at the bottom)
Top to bottom:
Planet of the Apes - Peter Boulle
Maestro - Peter Goldsworthy
Diary of a Madman - Nikolai Gogol
Interpreter of Maladies - Jhumpa Lahiri
King Lear - (who else) William Shakespeare [study guide above and actual text below]
